In compliance with AB1332, the City will accept pre-approved ADU plans starting January 1, 2025. 

Soon, Design Professionals will be able to submit ADU plans for the City to review and deem a "Pre-approved ADU Template." Once approved, the approved template plans and design professional contact information will be added to the City website. Residents will be able to contact a design professional, pay a nominal fee, and submit the pre-approved template, along with their site-specific site plan for an expedited review.
