Continuity of Operations Workshop Series For Small Businesses

Continuity of Operations (COOP) planning is vital for small businesses to survive disasters, with roughly 80% failing to reopen after a major disruption. A COOP plan ensures essential functions continue during crises (natural disasters, cyberattacks, pandemics), minimizing downtime, protecting assets, and enabling quick recovery to avoid permanent closure.

The Riverside Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI), a regional program managed by the City of Riverside Office of Emergency Management is a cooperative multi-jurisdictional, multi-disciplinary initiative whose mission is to enhance the capabilities and capacities within the Greater Inland Empire Region to prevent and protect against from threats or acts of terrorism.
